Planning
Planning services are offered to determine how a given space can be used most efficiently. Planning services are delivered as one or a series of “test fits” or sample floor plans. These test fits will respond to the program developed in the strategy phase, laid out with recommended adjacencies, traffic flows, and appropriate code requirements.
Sometimes planning services are contracted independently from design strategy. In these cases, clients may come with their own program or request that Havana Hyde recommend a program, such as an office building developer asking what might fit into a floor in the building they have planned for construction. These plans aim to study what could fit in a pre-selected tenant space before a larger investment is made in design, strategy, or construction.
